"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequeate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
Your playing small does not serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking,
so that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We were all meant to shine, as children do.
It is not just in some of us,
It’s in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others."

"Im not being too dramatic, this is just how I want it."

"Youre insinuating that I’m hot, but these goodies, boy are not just for any of the many men that’s trying to get on top. No you cant call me later, and I dont want your number. I’m not changing stories, just respect the play I’m calling. ……..Looking for the goodies, boy keep on looking, because they stay in the jar."

"Question…tell me what you think about me, i buy my own diamonds, and  i buy my own rings. Only ring your celly when i’m feeling lonely, when its all over please get up and leave."

"It aint a man’s world, no more sugar and spice…I can bring home the bacon fried in the pan, never let you forget that you’re the man…The thing that makes me mad crazy and upset, i gotta break my neck just to get my respect, go to work and get paid less than a man when i’m doing the same damn thing that he can. When i’m aggressive, then i’m a bitch, when i got attitude, they call me a witch.. Treat me like a sex subject, underestimate the mind, oh yeah you are fool!!! Weaker sex, yeah right, have you ever been in labor, I dont think so…I’m a genuine, feminine, female thang, can you hang, aint nothing but a she thing, baby."

"I’m a female, doing what I feel, put me to the test, yes I will get ill. Sensitive and sweet, yeah all that good stuff, but when it’s time to get rough, baby I’m rough enough. Ain’t afraid to show how I feel down deep, compassionate, but dont underestimate me, I’m intelligent, wise, complicated being, with an instinct to dream and believe in a dream."

"Now let me break it down to the marrow of the bone, I’m a female and I got it going on, dont be fooled by my S-E-X , It aint that simple, i’m More Complex…"

"Before you can read me, you’ve got to learn how to see me."

THE GAME IS ON!!

February 9th, 2006 by starangel

Love_sucks_cupid THE DATING GAME, THAT SOME PEOPLE PLAY, CAN BREAK THOSE WHO MAKE THEMSELVES FRAGILE, THOSE WHO OPEN UP, THOSE WHO SHARE THEIR DEEPEST THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS……….ONLY TO FIND OUT AT THE END, THAT THEIR TIME WAS WASTED FOR  SOMEONE WHO’S PATHETIC EXISTENCE IS ONLY OCCUPYING SPACE IN THIS ALREADY, SMALL AND CROWDED WORLD.

THE GAME AND THE PLAYERS OF THE GAME… FAIL TO SEE THE HEART WHOSE INTENTION IS PURE AND SEEKS ONLY TO LOVE… ..

SOMEDAY, THOSE WHO PREY ON THE FRAGILE ONES, WILL HAVE A TASTE OF THEIR OWN POISON. AND THOSE WHO WOULD HAVE LOVED THEM TRULY WILL NOT BE THERE TO COMFORT THEM …

AND AS FOR THE GAME… THE TABLES WILL BE TURNED…

Life as I know it

March 14th, 2005 by starangel

well I have a few aging relatives, some of them are sick right now. We called home and found out that 1 of my aunts is critically ill, one just fell and is bedridden secondary to the fall, one uncle who stated, "I think i will die soon."  I just stopped what I was doing and was hit by the realization that LIFE is fragile.

Those of us who are young don’t think about our aging years. We dont think about the age when we hit 70’s or 80’s or even 90’s.  How are the things that we have now, things that we do now, and things we have said to people will actually affect us in the future. Have we asked for forgiveness or even forgave those who hurt us? How are we living life now? Is it worthy in God’s eyes, WHOM who gave us everything that we have; WHOM we owe for every heart beat and every breath that we take.

Life is fragile, a small crack can actually become a bigger crack eventually breaking this life. Do we fix the broken spot or do we let it become bigger? Then when life is shattered to pieces only then we try to fix it.

Why do we send flowers to the dead? Why not send them when they are still alive so they will know that you care and that you thought of them? Life, we know when it began, but do we know when it ends? "For whom the bell toils, it toils for thee."

How are we living this fragile life? Do we toss it like it’s a ball, and let it fall wherever it may? Do we treat it like our car, regualr oil change,  waxing it, parking it where it cannot get hit by another car next to it?

Life is fragile, do we handle it with extra care?
